I am using version 1.5.6 and subtitle in format .ass
I try to change the font size and also the bottom margin, the program take the number I put in.
However, there is no change in the preview and also the output video.
Please help.

You do not provide enough information for me to even guess what you are doing wrong. However here are some things to check.

Is your subs source file text coding ANSI? If not, make it so.

Make sure to click USE before adding to queue.

Your subs file could have a format already embedded making it impossible to change. Check using a subtitle editor.

Thank you for replying. You are right, the ass sub file has embedded format tag in it and that makes the AVI Recomp impossible to change. I had to remove all the format tags of the sub file and it is working fine.
